Classes at YK are taught in a multi-level format, suitable for all. We encourage you to stay connected to your body, and take breaks as needed. Our teachers are here for you and we encourage you to ask questions and to be open with feedback.

HOT POWER YOGA
Hot Power Yoga: This is an all-levels hot, power flow yoga class appropriate for everyone. Offering a challenging flow, with options given for modifications. Studio is heated.
This particular class helps build a strong body from which one can transition into new positions and exercises.This flow centers around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform.
WARM FLOW
Warm Flow is great for beginners or those who want to refine their practice. Emphasis is on foundational poses, breath work and alignment. Studio space is warm, but comfortable.
Focus on the present moment. Among its many benefits, this class helps improve numerous aspects of your life including reaction time and short term memory. Those who have tried this practice have described feeling more relaxed and less distracted by their fleeting thoughts, demonstrating an enhanced ability to solve problems and recall information better.
RESTORATIVE
This class is focused on gentle supportive poses that are held for a longer period of time allowing your body to relax and allow a time for rejuvenation while also relaxing your mind. It is suitable for anyone looking to reset their mind. Please bring your own props. A blanket or bolster or two blankets and two blocks.

YINYASA
A powerful pairing of two different disciplines of asana (yoga postures); Yinyasa has fused the Yin style of long-held passive poses with the dynamic, yang style of Vinyasa (flow). Traditionally a Yin practice passively stretches your connective tissue to promote health of your joints and internal organs. Thus, this class will begin with Yin to open the body to more flexibility and energy flow while encouraging a more contemplative, non-reactive quality of mind. After a few long held poses the class will move into a flow to strengthen and invigorate the body and mind. Overall this class is 60 minutes of self care!
PRIVATE CLASSES and REIKI
Connect with YOGA KEOWEE and yourself in studio or the comfort of your own home with our Private Sessions at YOGA KEOWEE. Private Sessions could be for yourself or grab a few friends and connect through yoga. Or schedule a Reiki session. Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki is used all over the world, including in hospitals and hospices, to complement other forms of health treatments. Reiki aids in healing by helping people become energetically balanced - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
